FEES
Obtaining planning permission for a development is a process that involves many stages and skills. Ideal Planning Permissions can manage the entire process for a fixed fee or clients can pick and choose individual stages of work. We are happy to work with other architects and consultants if you choose.

INITIAL FEASIBILTY REPORT
This will give you a clear idea of the type and size of development and the chances of gaining planning permission. We charge £150 for the report with no obligation to undertake any other work with us. If the feasibilty report is positive and you wish to submit a planning application, should you choose to use Ideal Planning Permissions the cost of the feasibilty report will be deducted from the final agreed fee.

CALL FOR A QUOTE
Please call us for a quote to manage the submission of your planning application. For larger projects, we will provide you with two payment options. The first is based on a fixed fee quote payable on the submission of a planning application. The second is based on a success fee should planning permission be given. In this instance, you will pay a low fee due upon submission of the planning application, and only pay a second success fee when planning permission is achieved.

Example fee quotes for a project:
Fixed Fee - We submit a planning application for a fee of £1000.
Success Fee - We submit a planning application for a fee of £650. If planning permission is granted, a further fee of £650 is payable. If the application is refused, the success fee would be waived and you would not need to pay any more than the initial £650.

NO WIN NO FEE?

Unlike some planning consultants, we do not offer a no win, no fee scheme. Although these initially sound tempting, they are often based on the consultant retaining a percentage share of the profit made from securing planning permission. In these arrangements, if the planning permission is successful, the fee payable will be substantially more than a traditional fee quote arrangement and the client will be giving away a significant proportion of the value of the property. It is for this reason that the no win, no fee system is never used by professional property developers because they prefer not to share their profit!

Terms and conditions apply to all fees quoted
